HI, Im beginning to build a rat rod with an oliver tractor grill shell 36 ford wheels and modified brakes with a 1954 Packard straight 8 motor.
I need to find out what kind of transmission I can use...

- We did end up finding part of the problem, we did not put O-rings on the distributor shaft which was sending oil up the shaft instead of sending it to the lifters, adding O-rings quieted it down but...
