At the bottom of the doors, the inside and outside panels don't touch. There is about a 3 inch gap...same for the cab corners. The worst rot is in the roof above the windows....you can see daylight above the window seals. I think mice built nests in the headliner.
I replaced the floors and beefed things up with a 1x2 tube frame under the floor, but didn't repair anything that would be visible from the otside of the truck.
I have a really nice, rust free cab that could be swapped over, but it doesn't have the cool looking weathered farm truck look.There are two things in life where penetration is really important.....and one of them is welding.

Went to the Bunny Run in Jackson, TN. Truck now has 8400 miles on it!

As low as it is, it is a pain to load onto a trailer. Driving it isn't so bad. I just have to look out for road debris.There are two things in life where penetration is really important.....and one of them is welding.
