Tech, I don't disagree with your comment, but I guess I have enough faith in my supplier (Pete & Jake's) to add a bit of shiny to the exposed parts.

As a side note, though we all use a lot of welded parts, and with all of the fly-by-night suppliers and overseas imports out there, how do we know that they know how to weld and use the correct rod, temp, etc.
