Your $4,000 does seem like a super deal. I priced all new valve train, a rebuild kit with forged pistons, forged rods, and all the good stuff, an aluminum intake, new oil pump which I think is a retro'd 340 unit, dampner, front cover, and I was at $4,000 right there and I hadn't even included machine work or anything else.
