If you want the black flat and the flames shinny you'll have to do them in 2 steps. Black with flattener flames without.

You can do it in any combination. I think I would spray it black, paint the flames, shoot it all with clear, then tape off the flames and spray the black with flattened clear. Then when you pull the tape off the flames you are done.
