    yeah they stopped making the kits to do it now, but for me i really dont like the motor all exposed in the backseat area. now jack it up with a straightaxle and put it up front, thatd be fun.

    yeah not for me i guess, if it was a nova heck yeah, but i kinda wanna save this thing. its hostroic car in american auto history at least IMO

    Not sure what "hostroic" means but I would probably be hesitant to modify it too much, too! Just kidding on the "hostroic"! I know what you meant.

    What year is yours? Any pics? I assume it must be '65 or newer since that 4 for $1000 batch didn't have anything you could use.

    pretty expensive for a donor. i paid 1250 running and driving all it needed to run better was a set of points. the add ready "was had by a bondo gypsy" thats a bad sign haha

    Well, you can get several hundreds of dollars tied up in patch panels in a hurry! My point was if you look around you can probably find a decent donor for fairly cheap, comparatively, and make a good car out of the two.

    ive been looking around, the majority of the donors are the earlier body style. other then the wheel lips and 2 dime sized holes in the front floor its solid
