yeah they stopped making the kits to do it now, but for me i really dont like the motor all exposed in the backseat area. now jack it up with a straightaxle and put it up front, thatd be fun.
Here's a V8 powered one that shows up at a few SoCal car shows....

Not sure what "hostroic" means but I would probably be hesitant to modify it too much, too! Just kidding on the "hostroic"! I know what you meant.:LOL:
What year is yours? Any pics? I assume it must be '65 or newer since that 4 for $1000 batch didn't have anything you could use.
yup i took shop class instead of typing class. mine is a 65 corsa 4spd
Cool! Have you searched craigslist in your area for donor cars? Here's one in LA 65 Chevy Corvair Monza 900
pretty expensive for a donor. i paid 1250 running and driving all it needed to run better was a set of points. the add ready "was had by a bondo gypsy" thats a bad sign haha
now youve got me bragging...lol
ive been looking around, the majority of the donors are the earlier body style. other then the wheel lips and 2 dime sized holes in the front floor its solid
