I have to agree with antigue on the POR-15. I've used it on all my chassis pieces. I also use in on the floor pans with fiberglass matt to stiffen the chassis, adds sound deadening, insulates and leave a very nice gloss matt finish. I prefer to brush if on rather than spray it. It flows so well, you can't tell the difference anyway. With proper metal prep (metal etch) it is very tough. One thing though, when brushing it on, use a quality grade brush.
