Just for the record, regular polyester fillers today are far superior to what was out there30 years ago. If filler cracks now, it is because it was not used correctly. I haven't had filler fail in about 40 years, and I use it on almost every job, and guarantee it for as long as they own it. Today I use Evercoat products, though I also like Marson fillers.
