you may have to re base it and spot clear it i have done it but it is a better then a 50/50 for me if your wanting dead flat paint you should re clear the clip or look for a body line to brake it off at by rolling the masking tape up this will give a soft brake in time you can get a brunt spot were the fix was if you go to just a spot fix
