Denny, that paint code is a secret! But for you, my friends, I will share it. Just don't paint any 53 Studebakers with it! This is the way it was described to me by the original builder:

Paint type: PPG Concept Direct Gloss,
Paint mix formula for quart DMC 917 740 parts, DMC 911 up to 1050 parts
Paint mix formula for gallon DMC 917 2960 parts, DMC 911 up to 4200 parts.

I gave that to the local PPG dealer and it made sense to him. He mixed it up and it matched perfect. I tell you it is not cheap, a quart was $98 jobber.
