Re: POR-15 products
Excellent stuff...
Has some peculiarities to it...
It cures differently.
If you open the can, use all of the can.
If you have air left in the can it will skin over and harden.
(Poking a hole through the skin to use more will make the prettiest little geyser shot.
Keep this stuff off of your skin. It doesn't come off easily.
(You can always spot a POR guy in a restaraunt)
Ventilation ventilation ventilation.
This stuff is nasty to your lungs
It likes wire brushed surfaces better than sandblasted surfaces.
Keep it out of the sun when drying. It will haze on you.
I buy mine in quart cans and transfer it to squeaky clean quart oil bottles for easy re-use.
(I used their silver header paint on sandblasted headers. Followed all the wierd heat and cool instructions, and still had crappy looking peeling headers in about a month..)
Their 2 part epoxy blocks are awesome. Huge, but awesome.
Hope the info helps.
POR15 is worth the money...

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
