Most of the depth is from the color itself, and just having the the clear buffed with no peal to it .
some guys will add a candy base intensafier ( in the same shade as your main color ) to help with the deep look.
The trick with extra deep black was adding kandy purple to it , outside on a bright sunny day it was a mile deep .
