I like dark metallics or pearl on top with a light solid on the bottom. If you want that paint job to last 10 years or more, plan on $1,000-$1,200 for materials. If you use a flat, and want it to last, use a catalyzed urethane with a flatterner added. Here is one of my favorite jobs, though I didn't do it. :-(
