Welcome to the wonderful world of today's automotive paints. I dropped about $900 for S&W 96 Corvette competition yellow, their Glamour clearcoat and all of the assorted reducers and hardeners. I'm sure SprayTech will chime in, but a gallon base (even in yellow) should be more than enough. When I bought a gallon of S&W yellow, the paint store thought I was crazy, and so did my painter buddy back in Omaha.Jack
