My previous shop was a "Pole barn".

Rather than drywall the inside, I had the walls and ceiling (bottom of trusses) "Skinned" with the same white ribbed metal that was used on the outside. This gave me 9' ceiling.

This turned out to be less expensive than drywall & paint!

This made it very easy for cleaning and never have to paint.

Also...I had the area between two of the trusses boxed in then positioned a car lift so when the car was raised, it went up in between the trusses. It really worked slick!
