Thanks for the welcome guys. As for color, I'm leaning towards traditional black with red frame & trim, or red all over with steelies and WWW's.
Another idea is red or blue tinted urethane primer with a flattened clear coat making a permanant-type durable finish. No wet sanding, buffing or waxing has an appeal......
