By the way you will notice a definite lack of SBc engines in my collection as I believe in going against the norm, after all any dimwit can wire a Chevy but it takes a bit of thinking to wire in a Duraspark system ;)

All good there.. there's a few of us that bleed Ford blue. You'll fit right in!
In case anyone is curious my computer crashed and I lost everything on it concerning the web sites I use, I'm back now though.
Ok, I rarely call a car cute, but those tiny hood openings on the Austin's qualify the whole car as cute. Would a turbo 4cyl fit in one? If so, it would make one think of a flock of baby quail zipping around.
Welcome Bruce!
Lotta fun (and a wee bit o' work) at your place, eh?
Hope your stay is long and prosperous - both ways - as it looks like you've got some stories to tell us.
Welcome Bruce and cool collection you have going! I like that you used a 7.3 in your ford too!!
7.3 in a Ford? Sorry but it's in an International. The Austins will support a 2.3 turbo without major mods, although my hot rod (the grey one) will be very heavily modified to handle a BBF.
hello from me as well.
looking forward to the progress on you projects esp the austins. I have a A40 pickup I'm starting soon.
keep up the good work
.
Hey, welcome too from me the local Dimwit...... what is a duraspark system ? is it another name for rubber band power ? Or the make of sandel that Fred Flinstone wears ? All joking aside, yeah, I'm a sick son of a ...... but quite loveable so someone told me once and I do like the early Ashcans ( Austins ) and the little 4 door sedan on the trailer would go well witha late model turbo injected 4 cylinger and 5 speed cog box...
Surprisingly enough that is the best of all 3 of them; body isn't too bad (lots of dents) and the original engine runs and it has a 4 speed on the tree! The little grey one is being tagged for rodding as the engine is a good boat anchor, and the green one is to give any and all parts to the others (it also runs)
Sold them all
