That truck brings back some great feelings. I had a 41 when I was 20 with a 53 merc flathead that had been bored .060 over with stock heads and a rochester 2 barrel carb( all I could afford). I took off 12" from bed and used a 55 gallon in bed for gas tank. Now you got to rember back then gas was 30 cent/gallon> With rear gears 4:10 and a 4 speed it moved right along. Ran two open driveshafts for exhaust stacks with no mufflers.
