Interesting way to play with the Old ones - - - I like it - - - I also like that Rrrrrrrrrocket 88 - - - it brings back some great memories from the HS daze

Thx Mello, I have some favorites and the 52 Olds is one of them. It's a crazy story but I found her in a field outside Odessa Tx. The guy was asking a fair price but it was out of my budget so I respectfully had to decline. After sitting there talking for an hour or so about cars I ended up with the Olds and the 56 Pont 4 door hardtop for less than he wanted just for the olds. Original motor, tranny ect. still running the generator. Got her home, put in a new battery, poured some gas in the carb and I shit you not she started. So did the 56 with the original 316. I went through the brakes, tuned the motor, dropped 3in in the rear. I didn't even sand her down, I washed her, taped all the chrome and stainless rattle canned her flat black. Drove her to the local Friday night car show, parked next to a 60k resto job and within 15 minutes all the real car guys were running their hands down the fenders. I could see the memories flowing through their heads. It was great!
Wait... where do these other bolts go?
