Was born and raised in Carl Junction, MO about 10 miles north of Joplin. Graduated from HS in 79. Moved to the Dallas ares in 93. My folks still live in Carl Junction so make it back a couple times a year. Alway in August for the HAMB Drags at MoKan.

Small world! I was a ways south, but not too far down in Noel & Southwest City. I think we went up to Carl Junction once for a B-Ball game, but that would have been around '64. I graduated from NHS in '65 just before the district consolidated into McDonald County HS, and my folks migrated north in ~'67. Went up to MoKan three or four times back in the HS days, too, and used to make an occasional run to Joplin to cruise Range Line Road, or to go to the early box stores for things we couldn't get in the sticks, like floor mats, license frames, etc, etc.....
    Good to have you here!

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
