The test results are in

And the dyno proved very useful I must say.

I wasnt far off my previous estimate for the new engine. she made 402hp with 490 ft/lbs running 6.5 psi of boost with AFR way rich at 9.8 ??

The AFR is fine up to 3900rpm. It runs sweet at around 11.5 but when the rpm hits 4000 she dips very rich on fuel.
So I now have a plan for January. Run the boost at 6.5psi and trim the holley 600 jetting to suit for max power. In the meantime I'll be servicing my new carb. I just got a holley 1050 cfm Dominator carb for cheap from a drag race buddy. I need to buy adaptors to make it fit the 4/71 blower and the street scoop but i can get those from Ebay USA I think. If I can fuel ok on the low boost for January's testing I'll be happy.

Then the Dominator will be fitted and I'll start tuning all over again. But this time I will start at peak boost of 13psi and tune the fuel to match the boost on the new carb. I'm now confident that I can easily break back into the 10's on the drag strip with boost only

As Spring arrives the track should come back in for some good traction and I can go testing for serious times again
