As I said on your other thread,welcome back David and thanks for the run down on your little truck. I understand that it used to be your Dads' so has been a member of the family for a long time? We would love to see some photos of "Homade" and if you have earlier photos of your dads work etc. the better thanks.
Sorry to hear about the Alzheimers that has struck your Dad, a very horrible disease, I will pray for tonight.

I will post some pics - having some problems with my main computer right now - so using my work laptop - which I cannot keep photo files on or scan to. I have a 'bazillion' pics of HOMADE over the years. Hopefully this weekend.

HOMADE has been around for most of my life (I'm 42 now). Many fond memories of being in the garage or searching swap meets or meeting other folks for parts. Also learned all of my 'colorful' language in the garage.

I can certainly say that Alzheimer's sucks! Dad passed in December, but was sorta gone for quite a while. The larger than life jack of all trades, master of none reduced to not remembering his own kids was hard. So many questions I have about what he did when he built it (I wasn't always paying attention). But, I'll figure them out as they come up. Rebuilding the front-end and getting her running again has been good therapy.

Hi David, glad to see you back, but so very sorry to hear about your Dad. However, it sounds like his memory will live on with this project and in all the great times you two shared. He'll be right beside you during the whole thing and there for that first ride.
