    Another Canadian eh...

Found this place while looking for a definition of "ratrod". My completely stock 53 Monarch is not exactly a hotrod, but I would have thought it was in 53...LOL
I still haven't found a definition for "ratrod":-)

Welcome from another Canuk. If you want to know about rat rods, go to the hamb. For god's sake do an introduction or lurk for a while before joining. They crucify newbies that don't introduce themselves. By the way, guys with rat rods prefer not to call them that. They feel it is a derogatory term. Old style hot rods is what they are. Devoid of billet and mega bucks. Usually safely built, but bare bones and in primer. Nutz

    Oh Woodeye!

    Welcome to CHR Woodeye.

This is what I would call a rat rod.

    Hello The Al Show:
OK, I think I have the picture now...LOL
I started driving, and bought my first car in the 50s, so I recognize the genre.
I spent a couple of years building a 27 T coupe with a flathead V8, in the early 60s, but couldn't affort do finish it. If I can find the old black and white pictures, I'll put them up:-)
