Hi!
I'm new here, just thought I'd take the opportunity to introduce myself. I think it's nice there's a place put aside on the site just for this. I'm 20 years old and live on the east coast. I've got a '67 Mustang coupe that's all done, me and my dad built it over the last 5 years.
My next project is '51 Ford Victoria that was a cusom in the early 60's. Has a 283 chevy (supposidly vette) motor. It was my dad's car for over 20 years now, he lost interest and it sat outside for years, but it was always my favorite from when I was little and I hope to have it on the road this summer. Body is good, not rotted out. Motor is tired, trans pops out of 2nd but I've got another. Wiring is almost a fire hazard but hope do do that over the winter. Also need a steering box.
Also got an 86 F150 flareside 4x4. Very good condition, I'm proud to drive it daily.
Well, that's me
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
