thats what I've heard from a lot of people especially Jim Reid my machinist so I think I might be switching to a double roller anybody see any other problems I'm hoping to fire it off this weekendLast edited by 53 chevy pickup; 12-04-2006 at 01:51 PM.

Welcome to the forum. Yeah, it seems a lot of people don't care for gear drives. Even my machinist says the same thing. I thought the principle was that they were supposed to maintain more accurate timing than a chain setup, but it seems this isn't what people are finding out in the real world.
Very confusing.
