Welcome aboard Faith! You and Mr Hiboy are welcome additions to the forum, we'll look forward to you joining in on the technical discussion and nonsense that goes on around here. By the way, you hardly seem the beastly type, are you sure the Mr Hiboy isn't the beast and you are the beauty?

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

Pat: I see you have looked at her picture too. Yep, shes a cutie.

Hi Faith, welcome to this forum. I've been a member here for about a year, and really feel at home here. I've surfed around some other sites, and even communicated with you on the other site where you were catching some flack because you had the nerve to "buy" your rod, and they didn't consider you a true rodder. (I'm Donsrods on that forum)

I think you will find this forum a lot different than any other out there. The people on here are real, and also very courteous and caring. I have never met one of them, but feel we have been friends for a long time. I would bet you never catch any grief at all on here about how you came by your rod, we don't care. All that concerns us is that you love cars as much as we do. This forum also tends to be very G rated, unlike one forum I can think of, but not the one I mentioned earlier. We have a lot of women and young people who frequent the site, so we like to keep the lanquage clean and respectful. I don't mention that because I am afraid that would be a problem with you, but just so you know the nature of this forum.

From the posts you have made on the other forum, I know you to be intelligent and strong in your beliefs about rodding, and best of all, you actually drive your car. Your car is really cool, and it looks very well built in the pictures. I bet it's a blast.

Welcome again. I think you will like it here.

    Hey Don

As you see I was able to track down my rod's history and talked to eric's dad in length yesterday. I am awaiting a call from da man himself (Eric), hopefully he will call so I can drill him with questions.

I have decided I'll be taking Hiboy to the West Coast primer nationals next week-end. It's local and I'm sure it will be an experience. I'll let you guys know who it goes! I don't really expect or care to win anything but I'd like to participate nonetheless. Networking with other local roadster owners and hotrod owners is always a plus.

well, gotta run, I'm off to Flames (local hotrod hang out)... Ciao!
