The guy I bought the car from had taken it all down and restored every nut and bolt and was ready to put it back together again and then he decided he wanted to make a hot rod out of it so he put a subframe in the frame he had and was about ready to put it all together when he finally got tired of it and went out and bought a running Model A instead. It took 7 years for me to talk him into selling it to me. He had the car in dry storage since 1974. Incidentially the year I was born. One of the main reasons I have kept it this long (2 years) is because it holds sentimental value for the family as the seller was a very close friend of my wife's family.
