Welcome to CHR, fordfailane. Sounds like a neat project car. Not sure about the compression on the crate engine....an 871 blower motor isn't going to like having more than 8 or 8.5 to 1 compression. Don't forget the spark retard box from MSD, got to really pull a lot of timing out of the motor as the RPM's go up......

If done right, the motor should make good hp, done wrong it's going to be a gernade!!!!!!! Blowers are neat on the street, as long as you have a motor that is built for it.......
