Howdy Treekiller, welcome aboard. If you've got a digital camera, post some pictures of your rides. Just one thing... I hope that you didn't earn that "Treekiller" name by running your cars into them

The hole computer thaing' is new to me , My wife bought this thing so I'd keep what little gear motion I have in my head, moving , While I'm laid-up . You guys got to forgive my spelling & typing........... The funny thing is I talk just as slow as I type/ & it probable sounds just like I spell it . Seems as thou everything I've read so far is real helpful (in one way or another) .

Lake View... that sounds familiar. Thats all I know about it. E I-40? That would be up near Tulsa, right?

Big Blazers are good trucks. Many friends of mine own them. At one time, I was trying to get one. Still wouldnt mind one. I finally got me something I can take the top off of, and Im happy with it. I havent got to play with my Patrol yet. The bushings are really the only thing holding me back right now. I just met a friend down at the local dollar store, and hes gonna mod me up some bushings this weekend...

Smile S/E of tulsa and "I have a lake view"

Ha, glad you got that figured out ,hope it works ( be carefull with that thing ). you ever went to the 4 wheel event between OKLA. & ARK ? I think they call it " the pig trail" not sure when , You might ask " dangeroustoys" I think its over his way ( more of a 4x4 type event but ,he might have heard of it ). Anyway its a pretty big deal. Never got a chance to drive it but, I rode with a couple of friends a few times. You have to have a 4x4 just to get there ! Crazy! rock crawlers & mudders! And You have to make it to the "little Sahara" around mid Oct. West of Enid , right up 281 right on the Cimarron river . Big jumps! or rolls (whatever). If anything just to watch and see what they're running ( but you'll have more fun if you take something to run ). Well, I better stop talking about the 4x4 thing before I get my hand slapped ?.........?............ or would a ugly beefed-up Blazer running a s/b 327 /350 ,with 380 gears & all the armour.........B .....A HOT-ROD?? I wonder if any one will tell me ...............?????? ..................huMmmmmmmm???

It depends . If there's shiny paint under the mud it could be a hot rod. If it don't shine then it's considered a rat rod and therefore unsafe and poorly built. I don't make these rules they come down from a higher power in Batavia NY. There's only one right way to build a hot rod and I never could follow rules.

    treekiller...

I really don't know too much about the 4X4 events, but I do know that Rocktober Fest is comming up very soon... I think it is either the first or second weekend in October and is one of the biggest off-road events in the states... I think I saw a show a while back on TNN about the event you mentioned, more of a endurance event with a mud bog, hill climb and a off-road course... If you guys want more info on either of these events I will be happy to see what I can find out for you...
