Stay diversified. Trends change, and you still will want to be in business twenty years from now. Try to do some work in all parts of the auto hobby, on a steady basis, which will keep the flow of business pretty steady too, except during recessions.

I've been doing this for a few decades, and people will very quickly forget you do other types of work, unless they see new projects coming out of your shop.
