    New guy on board

Hello, everyone, I'm here for the first time on my new computer. I finally got a computer for myself at home, since my wife has had one for quite a while, she can go talk about music, and now I can talk about cars! I am an old-timer, born in 1955, and have been in the automotive parts business since 1973, with 25 years spent behind the counter of an old-time (established in 1932) parts store. I also spent 3 years running the machine shop, and I have seen and done a lot over the years. I hope I can help answer some questions, and maybe learn some things myself (you're never too old). My passions are Panel Trucks and Sedan Deliveries, I used to own a '53 Pontiac Sedan Delivery that I put a 440 Chrysler into. That was about 30 years ago, and I'm still kicking myself for ever selling it (seen a '53 Pontiac sedan delivery lately?!) Over the years, I've also owned a '70 Duster 340-4 speed, 2 '67 Chevelles, a '55 Chevy 210 2-door wagon, a '61 Imperial, and so on. If we knew then what we know now.......
The older I get, the faster I was.

    Ah, to be 50 again!

Welcome aboard, don't mind when the ankle biters come in talkin' their "real hot rod" trash.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Man, I like this, I feel young again! You all still remember when cars came with points, drum brakes, and carburetors!
