    Cool New Texas military MOPAR guy here . . . . . . .

Don't ask me why it took me so long to join this site, I've been a member of C.H.R.'s sister site Club Chopper for a few months.

    A bit about myself . . . . . . .

I've been in the Marine Corps Reserves since '98 and got back from Iraq last October. Bought a '67 Caddy when I got back. Also have a 78 Lil Red Express (my pride n joy), 89 Formula Firebird, 79 MGB Roadster. Not much else to say, just workin so I can buy more beer, guitars and Mopars for me and my fiancee (she wants a Hemi 'Cuda, Dart, Duster, Viper, Ram, just to name a few).

Welcome Scott to CHR. I had a 78 Lil red express myself and could kick myself in the ass for selling it. Cruising at 65 and listening to those pipes speak sure was fun. I think they only made a couple of thousand of the 78 and a few more of the 79 which had more restrictions on the motor than the 78.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Yeah, this Lil Red Express is the ONLY vehicle I've ever been in that I didn't care about the radio, so the the stock AM radio is fine with me. Those stacks make the BEST music ever.

They made 2,188 Lil Red's in '78 and 5,118 in '79. I've heard about a couple '80 Lil Red's in Canada, but I don't know if those are just left over from '79 or if they actually produced some for 1980.
