Love of Cars, lack of Money
Just found this site, seems like a good place to get info. I have a 57 100e Anglia panel that I hope to install a Ford 302 into. My plans are for a custom frame, Mustang II suspension, narrowed rear end, etc. Long ways off, to many other iorns in the fire. Also have a 55 Ford F100 that I paln on chopping the top and making a Rat Rod out off. A 65 VW that I want to make a dailey driver, Cal style meets surf junkie. Live in central Cal, love Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Euro trash, and just about any car you can think of.

Welcome Anglianut. Not enough money has always been a problem for me, too. The good part is, lack of funds forced me to learn to do almost everything myself. The only thing I don't do on my cars is the machine work on the engines and the upholstery.
Twenty-some years ago, before Mustang II stuff was common, I built a rolling chassis for a friend's Anglia. I used the complete front end assembly out of an MG Midget. It was the perfect width for the Anglia, had all the good stuff (disc brakes, R&P steering), and it was bolted in. I fabricated matching brackets on the new frame so it bolted in there, too...Jim
