My Ride
Ok so I am new to this place and I need your expert opinions on what to do with my plan for my ride. I have a 32 ford 4 door victoria and its pretty good for sitting in a barn the past 60 years and I havent noticed a lot of rods anyware that are of the 4 door version. I am looking around to see what type front end steering I should be putting into this car and enging, trans rear axel ect. looking for your ideas and thoughts. Please help.

Your lucky to have a 32 no matter how many handles it has. Its not what you havent seen its what you like.If you are young and have a family, 4 drs. is the way to go. I have a 37 terraplane 4 dr. an it comes in handy as a club truck when we go to shows.Build it safe an drive the wheels off it, its the only way to enjoy the hobby. Good luck.

Just spent two days at N.S.R.A.s Nats East in York Pa. over 4200 cars, saw at least 3 dz. 4 dr. from 28 to 34 and a lot 35 and older.4 doors are popular here on the east coast. If you have a nice 32, build on it. 32s are getting hard to find no matter what body style, steel that is.Mustang front ends are hot so are dropped axles with a good spring. It depends on what look you are after.

Thanks for the words of encourgament I am really getting good information about my 32 and starting this project this summer. It will be an awsome ride when finished. Looking forward to digging into it. I also found other cars out there that are 4 door and really cool tricked out things on them. I also think it will be a good finished project when done for others to ride along with me and the wife.

on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
Time for brakes
