    Thank you gentlemen for your kind words and advice.
    That Caddy engine does have quite a bit of torgue. Since I have to take it all back apart I guess boxing the frame won't be that much of a problem.

    Here is a pic of my first trip around the block. Pay not attention to the redneck fuel tank on the cowl or the PVC upper radiator hose. this was late Sunday afternoon and the pats store were closed. I have since installed a fuel tank out of a mid 80's Blazer and have a real radiator hose.
