    Need Help

    Hello all ,
I am currently running a 72 Dodge Charger with a modified 318 motor. Unfortunately, 2 days ago my car wouldn't start. It cranks but does not turn over. It was running fine. The last changes I made before this happened were: changing the Fuel filter, adding a fuel pressure gauge to the dual feed fuel pipe going to the carb, and cleaning the K & N air filter. The gas seems to run fine but the car won't turn over. However, it has turned over randomly out of the blue, but stays on for 1 minute or sometimes 30 minutes then just dies.
Any ideas, I am definelty willing to try it all.
    Thanks for the help everyone.

    Engine dies

Everyone who has replied has had good advice. Fuel or fire will fix most problems. Check and see if this car has a ballast resistor on the cowl. Basic ceramic block with resistor inside or Ignition module. Either will exhibit the symptoms you described. Out of the blue...no reason...will run and stop. Days or minutes. Swap and go in most cases. I had a 77 D150 for many years. Carried one each in the glove box. Truck had a mind of its own, but ran forever...the ignition issues notwithstanding. I am betting ignition as others have mentioned.
