my wagon has a problem
as you all know i have a 1955 ford 2 dr wagon i have started working on it early i have dropped the gas tank cleaned it out
replaced the inline filters new fuel pumps blown out the lines several times it will run for a little while after the lines are blown
but after a while gas wont get to the carb what can the problem be i replaced some of the lines so i am ticked at my car
my tank had 50 years worth if gunk inches thick

sounds like you didnt get all of the junk out of the tank when you cleaned it. when you blow on it ,its blowing junk back into the tank and the pump is sucking it back up. i agree with mrmopar.Originally posted by 55ranchwagon

You will need to get the tank professionally cleaned,its hard to get all the junk out.
