Having lived in Germany for 6 years, Mercedes do not need a Chevy 350 to be fast Mercedes and BMW battle for ownership of the left lane on the Autobahn.

Though the parts might be more expenseive, the fact that they should bolt in might save some of the costs. Why not look for a Mercedes V-8 to drop in there?

Just like our aftermarket, there is a pretty significant aftermarket for high performance Mercedes too. Do a Google search on Mercedes tuners, you might be suprised what you'll find.

It might be cost prohibitive, but it's something to think about
