Dave I found this the other day and thought you may be interested in seeing it.http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/...structions.pdf
How is that stock oil pan working on the Plymouth. I have a mid sump on mine that I may have to change but all of these after market pans are so expensive. I missed out on a Charlies pan on ebay that sells for almost $400 and it went for $77.Mark Smith
Who better to do it then yourself?

no problems at all with the pan...engine is from a pickup so maybe that makes a difference.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Got the body back on the frame and starting to get some of the pieces put into place. Fuel tank and lines in the rear compartment, window track and motors, some insulation, etc. Finally starting to look like a car. Outside of the body will need one more coat of hi-build primer and some more blocking.Last edited by Dave Severson; 11-03-2010 at 09:21 PM.

I have been wondering about door insulation. I was figuring on some of the sticky foil type stuff - dynamat, etc but I'm not sure how exactly to get it in the door, in place and stick it to the door all through the small acess holes without cutting the inside of the door
. Dave, was that door cut?

Nope, didn't cut the door. Made a paper pattern, cut the insulation to match the pattern, applied some 3M spray weatherstrip adhesive, then worked it into place and rolled it down. Access wasn't easy, but with patience and planning it can be done--on this one anyway.. To put the insulation in place, I loosely folded it, then started in the lower front corner, then the rest of the front side, then unrolled it into the back half of the door... One instance where being a skinny old cripple actually helped!!!!

Thanks Dave..I'll have to see if I can get some insulation on there before putting the windows back in and the inside of my door is much less accesable than that

Found a couple more pics of the Plymouth. These were taken about 2 weeks ago before I put the body on or installed the rear end. It does show the 2 colors that will be on the outside of the body.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I got my brakes all hooked up, my exhaust all ran and just about to finish up with my fuel lines. Should have the body back on next week so I can start blocking it out.Mark Smith
