Looks good, Bobby! How's the weather? I was at the boneyard yesterday picking up a tranny for that little Aspire I bought and I thought I was going to die out there. 102 degrees and no breeze.

Matt that's quite the collection you've got! I love the rears doors, with the curve of the fender built into them. They just don't make cars with that kind of style and lines anymore.

I'm there too buddy. Heat index was hovering around 110 the last few days. Man its amazing how fast bare metal will get surface rust with all of the humidity. Now I have to clean it again.

One thing you can count on in Arkansas. Humidity.

Dave be carefull with Tylenol. It has a wierd affect on peoples memory. If you take high doses of it you actually start forgetting when you've taken it last, and unlike motrin, it can reach toxic levels in your body pretty fast, and cause renal failure. Motrin is much safer. (sorry about that the nurse in me, kicked in, had a kid OD on tylenol once!) Good points about the hydration!
I feel for you guys. We actually are enjoying wonderful mild weather for once.
I'm getting worried that it may start raining early this year, before I get the truck stripped and reprimed with a two part sealer!
I have tomorrow off, so I will get my butt up early and try to make a dent in it!"

Baking here also, 108 heat index, hot enough to fry egg's on a car hood. This weather being in construction can get miserable quick but after 40 years you get used to it...kind of! Air feels good when you get home thats for sure. I did manage to get my hood open on my 48, finally. It needs some serious cleaning after running in that rain storm with a louvered hood!"Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

It would be easier for you to look me up at the KOA at Spearfish, we'll be there the 8th and 9th. We don't ride our bikes after dark so that would be the best time. Our site is in the name of Fred Saari. I'm leaving at noon tomorrow so if you PM me with your phone number or directions that would work also.

No problem. Both of my parents have been RMT's my whole life. I should listen to them more often. I'll try the Motrin. Even better yet...while its hot....I'll lay off the sweet tea and try something with better hydration qualities. I need to get mine sealed too. She's rusting much faster than I expected. Mostly because of my own sweat.

Well, a bit warm in the shop all week, so this crippled up old geezer kind of took it easy... Start mocking up the racerback fairing for the pickup, did a bit of buffing, and got some more parts put on the engine... Couln't find a set of plug wire holders I like, so I found some aluminum leftover from another car and made my own...
Also, yesterday Tom F. stopped by on his way to Sturgis. Going to be out west for a week or so, then I think he's planning on bringing the rest of the "T" over here so we can start fitting the body and fenders to the frame....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
