I think the picture size is perfect! At least on my computer..
Wow, you're sure building a bad azz camaro!
Your right. Pics are right. It must be an ipad/forum conflict. Lol
Thank you. I still have along way to go. Jus getting started. Figured I would get everything the way I wanted mechanically, beat on it at a road coarse for a while, then maybe fancy it up with fresh paint and interior.
When the time comes I would like Pat to build me a 509 stroker. Plan to add T56 Magnum and a full cage. Probably also go with an AMD aluminum front clip to offset the weight of the big block a bit.
David
You've gotten a lot done on the car since you last posted, project is coming along great!!! Should be a lot of fun to play with and handle like a slot car!
I'm jumping in on the Camaro kudos!!! What an awesome car!!! The rims & tires look great, too!! Nice work!:D:D
Thanks Dave. I actually did the front suspension before the cold hit and forgot to post pics. The one trip I made out with just the front suspension and tires complete made me want a set of good seats with side bolstering. Lol.
Thank you Randy. I fancy the late 60's cars.
Wow. a lot of nice cars being built since I last checked in here
I've been working on a 59 Belair for the past couple of months, as time allows. she's getting air ride, 18s and 20s, LS1, 6 speed, vintage air, ps, disks, power bucket seats from the 02' Camaro donor, etc. Just need to plumb the fuel system and finish setting up the radiator to light the fire. then on to paint and interior…… If I live long enough ;)

Nice car, that LS looks like it belongs in there!!!! Should be a great cruizer when you get it finished up!!
I am working on a 40 Ford and hope to have it done sometime this summer.
I have built a few cars for myself but this one is a special project.
The car was purchased by a fellow in 1958 when he was 18 years old. (you do the math)
He only drove it about 2 years then it sat on the farm in various buildings and outside.
He wants to make a street rod out of it and I'm doing that for him. It will look fairly stock on the outside but I have a 350 chevy and 350 Turbo-H in it. I have also done a Mustang II front with power steering, and the rear is from a chevy blazer.
The project was put on hold for a bathroom remodel. But finally as of yesterday the snow has melted. So I hope to get back on the 40 shortly.
His hopes are to go for rides with his grandchildren and rides to town with his girlfriend.
So far it moving along pretty good. I have the chassis pretty well set and need to finish running some lines and related. The body has been painted on the bottom and some body work started. I totally rebuilt the area below the trunk lid. Also started on all of the rest. The roof of course needed attention. I have it god enough that i put primer on to see where I'm at with it. It will need more finishing at this point. The Drivers door is off and needs the entire bottom replaced. I purchased a lower panel but have never done a door grafting… Always a first time. The Front fenders have initial work done but the backs need a lot of attention. Hood looks good and I started on the front cowl… Lot's of body work left but I'm optimistic at this point…
Well that's the basics…
Here are a few photos... I hope...
I’ve never done this before and am not sure how to post them?
Very nice, 40's have always been one of my favorites and welcome to the forum.
Lot of memories there, good work ...
Welcome aboard RH Hot Rod, looks like you got the picture thing down pretty well! The project looks good and thanks for sharing!
