I am just going to wait until this years SEMA show....in the meantime keep doing research and asking lots of questions. Your discussions have certainly sparked many questions for me and I appreciate that. I am actually going to direct some of these questions to their tech support. Can't loose anything by learning.
As far as acceleration in hybrids...their are many different types of accellerations...some are electric only...gasoline for cruising....some gasoline only...electric for cruising...others a combination of both.
if they are using that SR technology it has a flat torque curve to a specified rpm and then drops after that. SR motors can actually spin to 100K rpms and they say theirs only goes to 15,000rpms. Maybe that is how they are doing it?

You say you are and Electrical Engineer Major, and argued for sooooooo loooonnnnnggg that their claims were possible, no matter what everyone, including us ol geezers, tell you. If you'd ever been involved with drag racing at all you'd know that this a total scam. Not all drag cars are ultra hotrods. Just look at the stock classes. We know how much it takes just to get a couple of tenths let alone a second off the time card.
