    Cam bearing installation

     



    Dad & I are rebuilding a chevy 283, needed to know if the holes on bearings go up (same side as Pistons) then the 2 hole bearing is the #1 correct. Do all holes face in the upward position or does each one sit in different position.

    That's a neat bulletin, Glenn. Looks like Travaw joined and posted his question, waited three minutes for an answer and logged off. Maybe they were right at the point of putting the bearings in, and expected someone to be monitoring the forum and providing instant answers.
