I think in the article(without going back in to read it),mentions that it was a batch of 500,,and after talking to a guy down here who stocks Magnums,he said that he (Magoo's Rod Shop),was never told there was a problem,and seemed to be reluctant to say which batch they were from..

Randy...yes,it is a nice color..Like the truck a whole lot,too..Only glad it happened at low speed,turning into an entrance..

I think this is the photo that Ken Thurm posted last year. I said it then and will again, this axle was already strength compromised and then broke when the guy went off the road:
