    Thanks Robin. I've seen it enough that it shouldn't anymore, but I continue to be amazed at the number of US origin cars you folks embrace down that way. Just tickles me!

    Yeah,I know..Beach hop is living testimony of our American side..1200 cars registered for the event this year,,and 99% are American..We have an awesome exchange rate still,,about $1.20 NZ for an American dollar..Has been that way for months now..Cars and parts are flooding through the gate,,including late model cars,which up till recently,were not worth bringing in,because of age cutoff for left to right hand drive conversions..Now,we can buy new,or very late models,bring em in and drive as they are,,BUT...they must meet certain criteria,,must be ragtop,sport coupe,etc,,limited production build vehicles,that can be classified as future classics..Like Mustang GT's,Cobras,GT500's,etc..Challenger,RT's,Camaro Hurst's,or the like..
