I am a huge fan of the large rear window bullet nose cars. Those vert's are just plain sexy. Thanks Robin for sharing.
Some very nice Studes, hope Pat catches this thread..... Now that he's retired he sure is busy!!!!!!!
Thanks Robin - for a memory lane tour
I really like the '49-'50 turret top two doors. We lived about 10 miles from South Bend and had many of those around at the time - as I was a wee brat then, barely remember, but do recall that some had bolted a propeller to that bullet in the grille. My next favorite was the '53 coupe ( I bought a '55 coupe about 1962-3 for $50, did a few minor repairs and sold it for $200, if I recall). The Lark - IMHO, a waste of parking space, but it's whatever floats you
Thanks for the pictures. I live about 30 miles from the old Studebaker plant. They have shows there all the time. You can't go to any shows around here with out seeing at least one. owned one (Lark) a long time ago.
Thanks!! Some very sweet rides. I am going to post that link at the Studebaker Drivers Club. I really like the convertible bullet nose cars.

Thanks Robin. I've seen it enough that it shouldn't anymore, but I continue to be amazed at the number of US origin cars you folks embrace down that way. Just tickles me!
Yeah,I know..Beach hop is living testimony of our American side..1200 cars registered for the event this year,,and 99% are American..We have an awesome exchange rate still,,about $1.20 NZ for an American dollar..:cool:Has been that way for months now..Cars and parts are flooding through the gate,,including late model cars, which up till recently, were not worth bringing in,because of age cutoff for left to right hand drive conversions..Now,we can buy new,or very late models, bring em in and drive as they are,,BUT...they must meet certain criteria,,must be ragtop, sport coupe, etc,,limited production build vehicles, that can be classified as future classics..Like Mustang GT's,Cobras,GT500's,etc..Challenger,RT's,Camaro Hurst's,or the like..
