I'm surprised! I expect that you're right, but I would have thought that the "power adder setup" would be for turbo applications or ProCharger type setups blowing through the induction system. As it sits now it's "draw through", and on top of a Roots type blower it'd still be "draw through", just at higher rates of flow with the pressure boosted below the rotors. I would have thought that sitting atop the blower would just be like setting atop a bigger engine - just more flow.
The way you roll you'll probably find a guy who wants to pay you for a couple of days labor sorting out his diesel swap with an old 6-71 blower that was rebuilt in 1965 and has been on a shelf since.
