Mike is right about anything cordless, they make life so much easier. We use the cordless drills so much we rarely drag out the corded ones any more, unless we are using something like a holesaw in steel where we need a lot of torque.

Another great gift is one of those retractable air hoses on a reel. We have 3 of them in the shop and it is so much more convenient to be able to simply retract it when you are done, rather than having to coil it back up.

Same goes for electric extension cords on a reel, you just pull out what you need and retract it back up when done.

Finally, one of those rolling tool carts is handy. I have one for painting stuff so we can wheel it outside when painting something, and I just bought one more at Turkey Run and I organized all of our drill bits on it so it is sitting right next to the drill press. I got tired of having to dig through a bunch of bits to find the size I needed.
