Brent,,only just seen this..I lost a good friend to prostate cancer a few years back,,he was only 53..He had a groin pain,which he thought was a pulled muscle,,and left it too late.By the time he went to the doctor and found the problem,it was too late,and he battled it for about three years.I am overdue for a check up,so I think this might spur me on to get it sorted..Very sorry to hear of your father battling this,,our prayers go out to him and the rest of your family..
